This is a 10 year old Linkwood single malt distilled in 2013 and bottled by Dràm Mòr. It was matured in a single bourbon cask and finished in a first-fill bourbon barrel, and 243 bottles were filled.
The nose is fiery and peppery, with pear drops and a little nail varnish that soon gives way to old oak furniture and a touch of cinnamon stick. The palate is buttery and soft, almost melting in the mouth, with dried yellow fruit dusted with dark chocolate powder. The finish opens with cocoa, turns to warm vanilla and ends on rich malt that lingers.
