This Linkwood was distilled in 2013 and bottled at 11 years old by Dràm Mòr, as a release for the company's 5th anniversary. Only 325 bottles were filled.
It was finished in a refill French oak Oloroso hogshead that had previously held Caol Ila.
The nose is rich and surprisingly smoky, with funky fruit. The palate carries the same fruitiness wrapped around warming oak spice, then a touch of cigar ash appears. In the finish the ash becomes more dominant, paired with Oloroso sherry spices.
