This is a single cask Linkwood from Wilson & Morgan, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2021 after maturation in virgin oak. It is bottled at 57.1% ABV, which is 100 UK Proof, and the release comprises 312 bottles. A few drops of water and some time in the glass will let it open up.
The nose is malty with a light dryness, compact and concentrated. On the palate, malt sweetness mixes with raisins, nuts, bananas and other candied fruit in a buttery style. The finish brings pepper, mustard and creamy sweetness.
