This is a small-batch Linkwood single malt from Speyside, bottled by Elixir Distillers under The Single Malts of Scotland name. It combines whisky from four refill hogsheads, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 after eleven years of maturation, at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose offers green apple, pear skin and fresh malt, with vanilla, blossom and a little white pepper. The palate is silky and fresh, with orchard fruit and barley sweetness against gentle spice and restrained oak. The finish is clean and lightly peppery, with a hint of herbs, lingering fruit and soft malt.
