This is a 9 year old Linkwood single malt, bottled by Asta Morris at 54% ABV. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 from cask AM156, a refill Pedro Ximénez cask.
The sherry influence brings cocoa and spice without excess sweetness, while the fruity, balanced character of the distillery remains. The nose is fruity, with ripe fruit, soft spices and fine cocoa.
On the palate there are dried fruits, chocolate and lightly toasted wood. The finish is long and silky, with chocolate and a warming spiciness.
