An eight year old Linkwood single malt, distilled on 3 July 2015 and bottled on 23 January 2024. It is number 9 in Claxton's Exploration Series. The whisky matured in a single STR barrique. The nose offers poached pears, almonds, marzipan, chocolate and coconut. On the palate comes a burst of fruit salad flavours alongside vanilla custard cream. The fruity finish turns towards sugary sweetness.
