This is a 41-year-old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, distilled in 1980 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in December 2021 for its Private Collection. It matured in a refill American hogshead and was bottled from that single cask, number 8255, which gave 121 bottles. The release is tied to the legacy of the Urquhart family and their hand-picked selection of casks.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
