Linkwood – 48 Year Old Sestante Decanter Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

This is a 48 year old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 40%. It comes in a 75cl Edinburgh crystal decanter with a stopper. It was bottled in the 1980s for Sestante s.r.l. of Parma, which imported it into Italy. Sestante was established around the 1970s by Ernesto Mainardi, who also founded the Silver Seal brand. His company usually bottled at 40 to 46% alongside cask strength releases drawn from the same casks.
