This is an 8 year old Linkwood single malt from The Single Cask series. It was distilled on 9 September 2011 and matured in a bourbon hogshead until it was bottled on 26 February 2020. The bottling comes to 312 bottles.
The nose offers oak, vanilla, pear juice and a touch of white wine, followed by green apples, walnuts, toasted almonds and a squeeze of lime. The palate is layered and delicate, with slightly bitter oak, walnuts, a little green tea and more lime, white wine and pear juice. The finish is of medium length.
