This is a nine-year-old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, bottled by North Star Spirits as Cask Series 026 at 52.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in February 2016 and bottled in August 2025, in an edition of 624 bottles.
The whisky was drawn from three Oloroso octaves and two refill hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose has ripe apple, pear and peach with raisin, vanilla and caramel. The palate is creamy, with malt, toffee, sherry, dried fruit, pastry and oak. The finish is long, with honey, raisin and malty warmth.
