Linkwood – Best Dram 17 Year Old 2008/2026 (55.7%)

A single cask Speyside malt from Linkwood, bottled by Whisky Druid in its Best Dram series at a cask strength of 55.7% ABV. It was distilled on 3 November 2008 and bottled on 14 January 2026, with no added colour and no chill-filtering. The whisky matured for 17 years in a first fill Château Margaux red wine barrique, and the cask gave 268 bottles. The red wine wood makes the fruity, floral Linkwood character juicier and deeper. On the palate there are grapes, peach and apple, leading to a pleasantly dry finish.
