A Lowland single malt distilled in 1982 at St Magdalene, also known as Linlithgow, and 28 years old. Signatory Vintage bottled it for its Cask Strength Collection from a single wine treated butt, at 63.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The butt yielded 351 bottles.
The distillery stood between the Union Canal and the railway line, with its own rail sidings and wharf, and has been closed since 1983. Most of its whisky went into blends, though independent bottlers have released it under both the St Magdalene and Linlithgow names.
