Littlemill – 25 Year Old 'Private Cellar Edition' (50.4%)

A 25 year old Lowland single malt from Littlemill, bottled at 50.4% as part of the Private Cellar Edition and released in 2015. Littlemill stood on the banks of the River Clyde and closed in 1994, and the building was later destroyed by fire. This whisky was laid down in the very late 1980s or in 1990, in the final years of the working distillery. The distillery is now owned by the Loch Lomond Group, which also owns Glen Scotia and Loch Lomond, and its releases appear in small batches of a few hundred bottles.
