This is an 8 year old single malt from Littlemill, a Lowland distillery that has since closed and been demolished. The bottling dates from the 1980s, and the colour is white wine.
The nose is fresh, fruity and floral, lively and youthful, with lilac, violet, cider apple, kiwi and rhubarb, developing into vanilla and caramel.
On the palate it opens with soft spices and cooked apple, then violet sweets, caramel, vanilla fudge, soft tannins, praline, milk chocolate and a dash of white pepper. The finish is long and soft.
