This is a 28 year old Littlemill, a Lowland single malt from the closed Littlemill Distillery. It was distilled in 1990, matured in a single hogshead and bottled in May 2019 by Ian Macleod Distillers for their Chieftain's series. The release comprises 290 bottles. Littlemill's spirit is described as light and fruity. Long maturation in a hogshead lets citrus, floral and orchard fruit character come forward, alongside gentle oak influence.
