This is a 9 year old single malt from the Arran distillery, bottled by Living Souls under the Lochranza name. It matured fully in first-fill bourbon barrels and was bottled in 2025 at 55% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings buttery toffee, candied lemon peel, bright citrus and soft vanilla fudge. On the palate there is pineapple, charred stone fruit and honeyed malt, with a light wisp of peat smoke. The finish is long and sweet, lightly smoky, with vanilla and a coastal freshness.
