Loch Lomond 12 Year Old is a Scottish single malt from the Highland region, matured for twelve years in a combination of bourbon, refill and re-charred oak casks.
The three cask types give a balance of fruit, spice and light smoke. The nose offers ripe pears, apples, vanilla and a touch of citrus. The palate is full and smooth, with caramel, honey, toasted nuts and spicy oak. The finish is long and warm, with sweetness set against mild smoke.
