This is a 14 year old single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
It is bottled without added colour and without chill-filtering. The whisky is not heavily peated, though a gentle smokiness runs through it.
The nose offers malt, vanilla and ripe fruit, with hints of cinnamon and ginger. On the palate come caramel and honey, then the fruit again alongside light smoke. The finish is long and warming, with a little spice and a soft, fruity sweetness.
