Loch Lomond 18 Year Old is a single malt matured in American oak casks, in a 70cl bottle. It is full-bodied, complex and round, with toasted notes, wood, ripe fruit and light smoke. On the nose there is oak and tobacco, with sweeter notes of cereal and honey. The palate brings wholemeal bread and nuts with a thin layer of red berry jam. The finish carries lingering peat, not too strong but easy to notice.
