Inchmoan is a smoky Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, matured for 12 years in a mix of bourbon casks and re-charred oak casks.
It is distilled in both traditional pot stills and tall 'swan neck' stills, and the peat smoke is balanced by sweetness and spice.
The nose brings smoky spiced oak, dried fruit and vanilla. On the palate smoked oak, caramel and dark chocolate come with a lightly salted sweetness. The finish is long, with peat smoke, spice and toasted nuts.
