Loch Lomond – The Nine 2010 1st Fill Oloroso Hogshead (Cask 3/6) (70cl, 56.8%)

This is a single cask Loch Lomond from The Nine series, which sets out nine single malt styles from the Highland distillery. The series draws on experiments with swan neck and straight neck stills, cut points, yeasts, and peated and unpeated malted barley. Number 3 was distilled in swan neck stills and first matured in an American oak refill hogshead. It was then finished in a first fill Oloroso hogshead. It is bottled at 56.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
