Long John 12 Years Old is a blended Scotch whisky from Long John Distilleries of Glasgow, sold in a ceramic jug. The jug holds 75cl and the whisky is bottled at 43%.
The nose is led by malted barley and toasted cereal, with a soft sweetness of honey, caramel and vanilla and a faint fruitiness. On the palate it is full-bodied and creamy, with toffee, vanilla fudge and raisins alongside gentle oak and light spice.
The finish is medium to long and warm, slightly smoky, with dried herbs and toasted wood.
