A 12 year old blended Scotch whisky from Long John Distilleries, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is fragrant and full-bodied, opening with chocolate, cocoa and fudge before moving to a malty base of fresh cereal and cut straw, with hints of raisin, vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, caramel, honey and dried fruit meet woody spice such as cardamom, with grain and malt clearly present.
The finish is medium to long and dry, with notes of grass, toasted wood and a touch of salt.
