A Long John Finest Scotch Whisky in a crystal decanter, bottled at 40% in a 70cl size by Long John Distilleries in Glasgow.
The nose is fresh and malty, with cereal, dry straw and old oak, and sweeter hints of toasted almond, wild honey and orange blossom. The palate is dry and lightly smoky from peat, with sweet spice and a resinous wood backbone.
The finish is medium to long and distinctly dry, leaving a warm aftertaste of malt.
