Long John – Special Reserve 12 Years Old (75.7cl)

This is Long John Special Reserve, a 12 year old blend of Scotch whisky. It was distilled, blended and bottled in Scotland by Long John Distilleries of Glasgow, in a 757ml bottle. The nose is clean, with malted cereal, wild honey, caramel and vanilla, then freshly cut hay, toasted almonds, soft leather and a little classic peat smoke. On the palate, raisin sweetness meets dark chocolate and cardamom, with soft wood. The finish is medium to long and dry, with dried herbs, a salty note, fruit, and lingering smoke and oak.
