Long John Special Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky with an 8-year age statement, in a 75cl bottle at 43% abv. It was distilled, blended and bottled in Scotland by Long John Distilleries of Glasgow.
The blend is built on Pure Malt components from the Highlands.
The nose is led by malted cereal and grain, with light honey, soft caramel, toasted wood and a slightly dry character. The palate is warm and balanced, with an oily texture, caramel sweetness and oak spice. The finish is long and persistent.
