Los Vecinos del Campo Ensamble No. 1 is an artisanal mezcal made from locally grown, hand-harvested agave. The agave hearts are roasted underground for days, which gives the mezcal its smoky sweetness. The piñas are crushed, fermented naturally in wooden vats and then double distilled in a copper pot still.
