Ludlow Single Malt Whisky Pedro Ximénez Cask Edition (70cl)

This is a single malt from Ludlow Distillery in a 70cl bottle, made from malted barley with a proportion of the malt gently smoked in a peat kiln. The spirit is triple-distilled. It was aged first in ex-American bourbon casks, then in Scottish whisky casks, and finished in a Pedro Ximénez cask. Only 70 bottles were produced in this limited edition. The whisky is medium-bodied, with heather honey, malt, a hint of butterscotch and crème caramel, balanced by the rich, fruity sweetness of the Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
