Luxardo Apricot Liqueur Liquore della Lupa (70cl, 25%)

Luxardo Apricot Liqueur, called Liquore della Lupa in Italy, is a 25% apricot liqueur first made in the early 20th century. The nickname refers to a she-wolf, and the name nods to the Roman legend of Romulus and Remus. The Luxardo family macerates Italian apricots in neutral spirit, then sweetens the infusion and rests it before bottling. The nose is juicy and floral with honey. The palate is soft and silky, with ripe apricot, a hint of almond and a light citrus lift. The finish is long, clean and gently tart.
