Luxardo Limoncello (70cl, 27%)

Luxardo Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur made by infusing fresh lemon peels in alcohol, water and sugar. The lemons come from southern Italy, and a slow, traditional infusion draws out the oils from the skins and gives the liqueur its natural yellow colour without artificial colouring. The nose is fresh lemon with a hint of zest. The palate is bright and tangy, balancing the sweetness of ripe fruit with the gentle bitterness of the peel, in a silky texture. The finish is crisp and clean, with a lingering citrus note. It can be served very cold after dinner, added to prosecco for a spritz, or poured over sorbet.
