This is an Islay single malt from Mac-Talla, the Morrison family's Islay whisky, made for the Fèis Ìle 2025 festival. It is a limited edition at 54.3% in a 70cl bottle.
It matured fully in two Italian Amarone wine casks, which were married for 24 months. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers ripe stone fruit, apricot and peach, with a strong cocoa note and a hint of peat smoke. The palate is velvety dark chocolate with the juicy sweetness of stone fruit, and the finish is long, with warming peat.
