Mac-Talla Virgin Oak Limited Edition 2025 is a peated single malt from Islay, bottled at 46% ABV. Mac-Talla is the Gaelic word for echo, a nod to an island shaped by harsh weather.
This edition matured in bourbon casks and in new American oak casks that were given a heavy char, Char #4, by Kelvin Cooperage in Kentucky.
The new oak is paired with the powerful, elegant peat of Islay, and the whisky is described as having rich notes of dried fruit, spice and vanilla.
