This is a 12 year old Macallan single malt from Speyside, taken from the Sherry Oak Collection. It is a limited edition in the Timeless Collection, with a bottle design by the designer David Carson.
The whisky matured only in sherry seasoned oak casks, made from both European and American oak. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings dried fruit, raisins and dates with vanilla, orange peel and oak. On the palate it is full and soft, with sherry sweetness, cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of ginger. The finish is long and warming, with spice, oak and a little chocolate.
