Macaloney's An Aba is a lightly peated Canadian single malt from British Columbia, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a blend of casks: Kentucky bourbon, Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez, Portuguese red wine, and virgin American oak.
The nose brings pine, orange liqueur and tropical fruit. The palate offers burnt heather, dried figs and milk chocolate, and the finish keeps a lingering warmth of smoke, sherry and vanilla.
