This is a 17 year old single malt from Macduff, distilled in 2006 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail on 6 August 2024 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice range. It matured in a single refill bourbon barrel, number 101693.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 54.9% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The outturn is 180 bottles, each in a dark brown box with gold details.
The nose balances elegant floral notes with fresh green apple and a clear citrus note. The palate turns to pineapple and ripe banana alongside creamy milk chocolate, and the finish is long and sweet, with a light touch of fresh mint.
