Macduff – 17 Years 2007 Infrequent Flyers (70cl)

This is a 17 year old Macduff from the Highlands, bottled in Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers series. It was distilled in 2007 and matured in a single cask, number 1806, then bottled in 2025 at cask strength. It is non-chill-filtered, of natural colour and a limited release. The nose brings green apple, citrus, vanilla, light floral notes and a salty hint. On the palate there is creamy malt, ripe pear, honey, soft spice and subtle oak. The finish is long and elegant, lightly salty, spicy and fruity, ending dry and fresh.
