Macduff – 2008/2025 16 Year Old Oloroso Butt (70cl, 56.2%)

A single cask Macduff, distilled on 11th August 2008 and bottled on 13th March 2025 at 16 years old. It is the second release in the Myosotis series from Hannah Whisky Merchants. The cask yielded only 53 bottles, at a natural cask strength of 56.2%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in an Oloroso butt made from American oak, which gives a much softer Oloroso influence alongside the lighter spirit character of Macduff. It is described as showing battenburg cake, golden syrup and green pear.
