This is a 13 year old Macduff single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2025 as number 55 in its 100 Proof Edition. It is bottled at 57.1%, which is 100 UK proof, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a mix of first-fill and refill Oloroso sherry butts. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings Oloroso sherry, vanilla and spice with dried red fruit, honeycomb and orange peel. The palate is round and full, with raisin bread, spiced apple compote, dark chocolate and leather. The finish is medium to long, warming and spicy, with light tobacco and demerara sugar.
