This is a 24-year-old Macduff from the Highlands, bottled by Samaroli as a single cask. The whisky was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2022, after maturing in a refill bourbon hogshead. The nose is subtle, with campfire, yeast and smoked meat. On the palate come roasted almonds, hazelnuts and candied fruit, with a gentle, flowing character.
