This is a 13-year-old Macduff single malt from Cadenhead's Original Collection, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in bourbon casks and bottled without added colour and without chill-filtering.
Macduff distillery was founded in 1960 and stands on the coast, on the banks of the River Deveron, looking out over the Moray Firth.
The tasting notes mention apple, honeydew melon, golden syrup and a hint of lemon cake. The texture is soft, and the finish is light and creamy.
