MacPhail's 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 40% in a 70cl bottle, sold in a tube. The distillery behind it is deliberately not named. It belongs to the MacPhail's range, whose whiskies mature in casks made to Gordon & MacPhail's own specifications.
The nose combines tart citrus with a light touch of spice and rich sherry. On the palate Seville orange gives way to stewed fruit and roasted nuts. The finish carries a fine fruit note along with charred oak.
