MacPhail's 30 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Gordon & MacPhail, matured for three decades in oak casks made to the independent bottler's own specifications. It belongs to the MacPhail's Range and shows sweet sherry influence alongside roasted nuts, chocolate and dried fruit, with subtle oak and spice.
Gordon & MacPhail has worked with Scottish distilleries for more than 125 years.
The nose brings stewed fruit, apple, roasted nuts, subtle chocolate, honeycomb and dried apricot. The palate starts spicy, then moves to blackberry, raspberry, apple, milk chocolate, tangerine and oak. The finish is medium, with hints of menthol and lasting cocoa.
