Maker's Mark Bourbon (70cl, 45%)

Maker's Mark is a Kentucky straight bourbon from America, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made by hand. Red winter wheat is used in place of rye, which gives a soft, round character. The bourbon is bottled when it tastes right rather than at a set age, and each bottle neck is sealed with wax carrying the maker's seal. It is amber in colour. The nose is warm, with grain and vanilla, and the palate is creamy, with honey and oak.
