Maker's Mark Cask Strength 'Made For The Brave' is a Kentucky straight bourbon released for Memorial Day in honour of the U.S. military. The label carries patriotic design, and a portion of proceeds supports military-focused charities.
It uses the Maker's Mark wheated mash bill of corn, red winter wheat and malted barley, and is bottled at a cask strength of 55.25% ABV (110.5 proof) without chill filtration or dilution.
The nose is rich vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. The palate brings full wheat sweetness, brown sugar, baking spice and deep oak, leading to a long, warming finish.
