It was released to mark the Breeders' Cup at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky, and belongs to the long-running partnership between Maker's Mark and Keeneland. The recipe is the standard Maker's Mark one, with soft red winter wheat in place of rye. It is presented in the 1-litre format with commemorative Keeneland Breeders' Cup packaging. The nose is soft wheat, caramel, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate is smooth and creamy, with honey, caramel and gentle oak, and the finish is warm and sweet.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
