This is a seven year old English whisky that combines more than 51% rye whisky with malt whiskies from several English distilleries. Rye spice is one of the defining parts of its profile. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and without added colour. It belongs to the &Whisky range, which began in 2020 and is bottled by Atom Labs. The nose offers vanilla pods and cracked pepper, with cocoa nibs, toasted rye bread and a hint of clove. The palate is spicy and balanced, with red grape skin, rye warmth, creamy oak and a dry, lasting sweetness. The finish is long and warming, and the spice fades softly.
