This is Mandala Añejo tequila in the 2025 Día de los Muertos edition, sold in a 1 litre hand-painted ceramic bottle. The bottle shows La Catrina, the skeleton figure, surrounded by marigolds.
It is made from 100% Blue Weber agave from the Jalisco Highlands, cooked in brick ovens, double-distilled in copper stills and aged for about 24 months in sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 40% abv with no additives.
On the nose there is toasted French oak, sweet cooked agave and warm spice. The palate brings creamy caramel, vanilla, honeyed oak, dried fruit and soft cinnamon, and the finish is long and smooth with lingering sweetness.
