This is a 10 year old Mannochmore from Duncan Taylor's Octave range, finished in Oloroso octaves. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025 at 54.6%, in a 70cl bottle. It is one of 93 bottles.
Tasting notes are given from before and after the octave finish. Before, there is toasted brioche, nougat, lemon bonbons, grass and sweet peppers. After the octave, the character shifts to grassy, herbal notes, sour cooking apples, starbursts and a creamy quality.
