This is an 11 year old Mannochmore from Speyside, selected by Signatory Vintage for its 100 Proof Edition #51. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 at 57.1%, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour.
It matured in first-fill Pedro Ximenez quarter casks and refill hogsheads, both previously holding Pedro Ximenez sherry. The edition takes its name from the bottling strength. The texture is dense and oily.
The nose combines ripe plums, dark berries, raisins and caramel, with a touch of mocha and cinnamon. The palate shows dates, dried figs and bitter dark chocolate, with firm oak spice. The long finish joins dark chocolate and woody spice, with dried fruit fading gently.
