This is a 12-year-old Mannochmore single malt, distilled in February 2013 and bottled in 2025 by James Eadie. It comes from a single cask at a cask strength of 52.7% ABV, with 284 bottles drawn from it.
After its main maturation, the whisky spent 14 months in a first fill PX hogshead to finish.
The nose is raisins, figs and ripe plums with dark syrup, plus roasted nuts and a light herbal spice. The palate opens with sweet dates, moving to fine chocolate, with oak and a pinch of pepper. The finish is long and led by oak, with fruit and gentle spice fading slowly.
